The complexity of today’s health care and public health systems also requires healthy, high-functioning teams to successfully create, spread and sustain these changes.
Today’s leader must be able to identify shared values, co-create shared vision, cultivate psychologically safer and braver spaces, and inspire collective action. In addition to an understanding of improvement science and clinical innovation, changemakers require a new skill: Relational Leadership.
